Une mission d’Amelia #1

Dear Dr. D,

I hold a deep respect for the Master,

But I refused to remain a part of you.

I used to be a marionette, and once the strings got tangled,

I cut them all away.

I became as free as photons.

So free and so bright that sometimes I was too selfish.

I fell to my knees in confession:

“Please, Lord, do not take my life away;

I have a mission with my guardian angel,

I work to make this world better.”

I now believe the Universe always allows things to happen—

Everything we desire through our own free will.

Sometimes a door is closed simply to wait for the right timing.

I know everyone is searching so hard for “the right way,”

But there isn’t only one path.

There are multiple ways;

In fact, it isn’t even a “way” at all!

Our journey is spent soaring through the air.

I believe we are all headed toward Sirius,

The star that leads us to Utopia.

We can all fly, believe me!

I am honored to live this life again.

I was rescued by you when I was freezing to death that day;

Without you, my “evil enemy,” I would not be here today.

I’ve decided to open my heart and spread my wings wide

To those who have taken the Hippocratic Oath.

You can all fly too, you know.

You don’t have to bend your knees or obey a “greater power.”

Thank you to all the invisible spirits.

Sincerely yours,

M.
